About me
My career as a painter
I was born in Trois-Rivières, Québec.
With teaching certificates in special education and auxiliary training in visual arts, I have used my knowledge to support my talents as an artist and my passion for painting.
But it was first and foremost the young children, during my ten years as a preschool teacher, who benefited from it, with freedom of expression being the basis of my teaching.
My educational experience has given me a taste for exploring different techniques of artistic expression, from sculpture to painting on stone, collage and painting on various media such as stone, wood and, of course, canvas.

Artistic approach
Painting the imaginary
Armed with a palette rich in colors and a singular gesture, I invite you on an introspective journey to the heart of my creations, where lines dance and shapes come to life.
Far from being mere representations, my creations are invitations to escape, windows open to dreamlike worlds.
Through the use of various techniques, from delicate brushwork to generous sponging and bold collage, I create paintings vibrant with energy and emotions.
Behind each curve, each nuance, lies a story, an emotion, a reflection. I invite you to decode my subtle messages, to interpret the symbols and figures that populate my works.

When painting meets music
Colors and shapes dance to the rhythm of an invisible melody.
On the first level, an artistic exploration where each brushstroke is part of a harmonious composition, similar to a musical score. But the real magic lies in the counterpoint, those subtle elements that reveal themselves on the second level, like a chorus whispering in unison.
Delicately sketched musical instruments, seem to play a secret melody. Barely recognizable female profiles evoke an enigmatic presence. Birds take flight in an imaginary sky, their evanescent silhouettes giving free rein to interpretation.
My paintings are an invitation to a sensory journey, an exploration of the links that unite art, music and imagination.
